OpenEd's marketplace offers your family a wide range of resources from the curriculum providers you know and love!
Take a look at this quick overview of how the marketplace works.
How It Works
While you're in the OpenEd platform, click on the Marketplace menu option from the lefthand sidebar.
From there, you'll be able to browse our extensive list of open education resources. You can also filter this page by Provider, Subject, Grade Level, and sort by Price.
Every listing in the marketplace is individually priced, allowing you to mix and match exactly what your student needs to succeed. You'll find everything from full curriculum packages to supplemental material like study packets and practice questions – we've got it all.
Orders are funded directly from your OpenEd wallet, so you don't have to pay for your purchases yourself and wait to be reimbursed – the amount of your order will be taken right out of your student's OpenEd funds.
All OpenEd students in Utah have $2,000 in available funds for the 2025-26 school year.
When you're checking out, you'll be able to choose whether you would like to pay for your purchase with your OpenEd funds or with a credit card. On the checkout screen, you'll also see exactly how many funds you have left, along with how much will be deducted from your purchase.
This means you don’t need to keep track of that complicated information for yourself – we’ll make sure you’re always kept informed about the status of your funding.

Connection To Your Student's Education Plan
You can use your wallet funds for approved items that support your student's education plan.
When you add an item to your cart, you'll be asked to connect it to a subject on your student's education plan.
As long as the resource you're buying relates to one of the subjects listed on the education plan, you're good to go.
Preordered Items
During the Summer, you can preorder items for your student to use during the school year. (Your student will get access to these items once the school year starts.)
On the checkout screen, you'll see your item marked as preorder. That means that you can't start using your resource just yet – but you'll be able to soon!
How To View Your Orders
To see what resources you've already ordered, click on the Orders menu option.
On this screen, you'll be able to see some details about each order, including its status, what date you placed the order, and what the cost was.
Returning An Order
Most items in our marketplace are eligible for a 100% refund if you make your return request within 14 days of the date that you receive login access.
After 14 days, the amount of the refund will vary by resource.
Preorder Pricing – Available for a Limited Time
To make sure you get the most out of your funding, we've worked closely with our curriculum providers to offer you guaranteed preorder pricing until July 31st, 2025.
