Updated yesterday

Does your student need some additional support? We're here to help!

Tutoring Support for OpenEd Students

At OpenEd, we believe every student deserves personalized support. That’s why we're excited to offer free, live tutoring for OpenEd students from September through May, led by certified teachers! Whether your child needs help staying on track or just a little extra confidence, this is a great resource to lean on.

If your student needs help with a concept or skill, you can sign up for a virtual tutoring session from OpenEd’s in-house tutors through the Tutoring tile in your student’s library.

From that tile, click on the link under the Access Instructions. That will take you to a form where you can fill in a few details about what kind of support your student needs.

Daily (Monday to Friday) at 11 AM ET / 9 AM MT / 8 AM PT

Led by certified teachers, our daily Morning Meetings includes a variety of developmentally-appropriate activities to help students improve in basic math and reading skills.

These meetings are designed with K-2 students in mind.

Here are some examples of what these meetings might include:

  • Greeting & Warm-Up Activities

  • Counting Practice (calendar, skip counting, number of the day)

  • Sight Word Practice

  • Telling Time (digital and analog practice)

  • Short Story and Songs

  • Interactive Activities (movement, question of the day, joke of the day)

To sign up, head over to the OpenEd marketplace and search for "Morning Meeting."

After you sign up, you'll receive the link to join. We'll also send you a reminder email (that includes this link) the day before each meeting.

Want something more personalized?

You can also use your OpenEd wallet funds to hire a private tutor as part of your student’s education plan. Whether it's for a specific subject or general academic coaching, you can customize support based on your child’s unique needs.
