There are so many creative ways families use their wallet funds to support personalized learning. Because the possibilities are nearly endless, it's not possible for us to list every item that could be reimbursed. Instead, below you’ll find examples of commonly approved expenses that align with most educational plans.

💡 Tip: When submitting a reimbursement, include a short note about how your student will use the item. This helps our team connect it to your education plan—and we love hearing about the creative ways our students are learning!


Curriculum & Learning Materials

  • Secular curriculum (e.g., math, reading, science, history)

  • Educational workbooks, textbooks, and unit studies


General Educational Supplies

  • Basic school supplies (e.g., pencils, paper, binders, dry-erase boards)

  • Organizers, desks, or whiteboards used for student learning spaces

  • Printer ink and paper for assignments and curriculum

  • Manipulatives (e.g., math cubes, letter tiles, flash cards)

  • Classroom tools like timers, file folders, or learning charts


Classes & Instructional Support

  • Supplemental classes or tutoring (e.g., Outschool, co-ops, microschools)

  • Online learning services or in-person part-time instruction (non-religious)

  • Instructional DVDs, audiobooks, and streaming subscriptions


Technology for Learning

  • Laptops, monitors, and accessories used for schoolwork
