Learn Together Webinars
These are virtual, standards-based lessons where kids of all ages explore topics together. Some examples of past Learn Togethers include:

How To Sign Up For A Community Event
After logging into the platform, head over to the marketplace from the lefthand sidebar.
Once you're there, click on the word Events from the top right of the screen to view our current events.
Click on a tile to view the full information listed for the event, including the date and time, a brief description, and the recommended supplies (if any).
To sign up for an event, click the Add to Cart button. Then, check out to complete your order.
Keep in mind: If an event has limited spots available, you'll see the label Limited Availability in the top left corner of the listing's tile.
Where To Find Your Events' Info
After our team fulfills your order for a spot in one of our events (which might take a day or two), the event's information will show up in your library.
Click on the Library menu option from the lefthand sidebar to view all of your educational resources, including any clubs and events you've signed up for.
Through the dropdown menu in the top right corner, you can also sort your library to only view your events.
Click on an event's tile to view its full information.
Flex Fridays
Every Friday, the Community team hosts Flex Fridays, where students join breakout rooms to participate in a variety of activities.
Each week, we offer new breakout rooms on topics that students are excited to participate in. Past topics include Minecraft, Storytime, Paper Hand Puppets, Painting - and a whole lot more!
To sign up, search for Flex Friday in the marketplace. Each event's date is included in its title.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I find the list of supplies that my student will need for their event?
A: Through your library, take a look at the Access Instructions under your event's tile.
Those Access Instructions will include all of the info you'll need about the recommended supplies for your event.
Q: How do I get the link to join my student's event?
A: You can access the link to join your student's event by clicking the Access Product button from the event's tile in your library!
We'll also send you reminders via email that will include the same link. If you have any issues joining your student's event, please reach out to us at [email protected].
Q: How do I know what events will be available in future months?
A: Every month, our team sends out a Community newsletter that includes details on all of the events we'll be offering in the coming weeks.
This newsletter goes out to all OpenEd families, so we'll make sure you're in the loop!
Q: I signed my student up for an event, but I want to cancel that request to join. How can I do that?
A: If our team hasn't fulfilled your request yet, then head over the Orders page.
After clicking on your order for the event, you'll see a Cancel Orders button in the top right corner. Click that button to cancel your order.
If our team has already fulfilled your request, then please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can cancel your order on our side.
