Each course includes access to an Online Tech Mentor who will review student work, answer questions, and provide support throughout the year.
Is the recommended age for the DreamLink Learning courses flexible?
Yes! Please submit a request below if you feel your student might be ready for a course outside their grade range.
How do I log in to Launchpad?
Students with a DreamLink Learning course will have a Launchpad account. The username is the student’s email address. Please click “Recover Account” to set up a password.
Is there a required pacing and assignment schedule for DreamLink Learning courses, or can my child work at their own pace?
DreamLink Learning courses are self-paced, project-based, and mentor-graded. They include a suggested pacing and assignment calendar to help students progress throughout the school year. Students will also have access to an Online Tech Mentor who will review their work and answer questions during the year. Following the pacing guide helps ensure course completion. Students are also welcome to move at their own pace and disregard late assignment notices.
Where do I see my student's DreamLink Learning course grades and mentor feedback?
Parents and students can view DreamLink Learning course grades and feedback inside Launchpad. If students need help with a DreamLink Learning course or have questions, they can message their Online Tech Mentor directly inside Launchpad.
Is there a required pacing and assignment schedule for OpenEd Direct Provider courses, or can students work at their own pace?
Our MTH Direct Provider courses are self-paced and content-only. Students can participate in these programs at their own pace and appropriate level. Students will receive login information to view lessons and submit assignments. Some programs provide parent/teacher accounts for parents to monitor student progress, assign quizzes, and grade assignments. See our Course Catalog.
What if my child finishes their course early?
Upon completing a self-paced course, students should actively participate in enrichment opportunities or continue coursework related to that subject.
How many crates will my student get in a Virtual Makerspace with KiwiCo class?
You will receive eight crates as part of the KiwiCo course. In addition to the monthly kits, this course offers an online curriculum with additional instruction and activities. See details in our Course Catalog.
Do I need a new computer? What are the system requirements?
The necessary computer specifications will vary based on the curriculum you choose. Check specific DreamLink Learning course requirements in our Course Catalog. In general, a standard computer will work great!
