Please note: Students have two weeks of access to determine program compatibility. Course repayment may be incurred if a change is requested after two weeks.
MTH Direct Providers:
MTH Direct options include online independent, online parent-supported, and online teacher-supported courses from trusted curriculum providers.

Login information for MTH Direct Provider courses will be sent from [email protected].
Exceptions include Full-schedule college programs and approved On-site Split Enrollment classes.
MTH Direct DreamLink Learning courses:
OpenEd educators have created an extensive collection of technology and entrepreneurship courses for students of all ages. We refer to these self-directed courses as DreamLink Learning, and they are all online and teacher-supported.
Each DreamLink Learning course offers students the following:
Easy-to-use course navigation
Experienced Online Tech Mentors to provide support and help students adapt courses to their interests
Closed captioning in course videos to increase student accessibility
Flexibility within each course for students to create portfolio projects that focus on their learning goals
Offline projects and activities that extend the student’s learning experience into the real world
All DreamLink Learning courses are accessible through an easy-to-navigate platform known as Launchpad.

MTH Direct In-person courses:
OpenEd has partnered with select local Utah businesses to offer in-person classes to our students.
Makerspace: Students in various age groups can enroll in a Makerspace class in Lehi. Classes meet once a week for two hours.

MTH Direct Full-schedule options:
OpenEd offers full-curriculum options for students. These options fill multiple periods on a student’s schedule and vary from online curricula to on-site classes in specific locations.
Southern New Hampshire University’s competency-based education programs (SNHU-CBE) (grades 9-12, fills Periods 2-6 on a schedule)
Note: Tuition costs for SNHU-CBE will use $200 of a student’s Technology Allowance, leaving $300.
Ignite learning Early College (grades 9-12, fills Periods 2-7 on a schedule)
Note: Tuition costs for Ignite Learning will use all of a student’s Technology Allowance.
Bottega Full-Stack Development (grades 10-12, fills three periods on a schedule)
Note: Tuition costs for Bottega Full-Stack Development will use $200 of a student’s Technology Allowance.
LEMI Program (restrictions apply)
Parents already involved with the Full-schedule LEMI program will work with the LEMI team to design a personalized program for each child.
Students participating in the Full-schedule LEMI program cannot be diploma-seeking and are not eligible for a Technology Allowance.
When submitting a schedule in InfoCenter, select “Full-Schedule LEMI” for Periods 2, 3, 4, and 6.
Students can choose a MTH Direct course for Period 5.

OC Online (grades 9-12)
Courses can be taken as Full-schedule (fills Periods 2-7 on a schedule) or a la carte (available in 1-2 periods on a schedule)
Note: Tuition costs for Full-schedule OC Online will use all of a student’s Technology Allowance. Tuition costs for a la carte OC Online courses reduce a student’s Technology Allowance by $100 per course.

Can we get a demo account to see what OpenEd Direct options are like?

What is DreamLink Learning?
DreamLink Learning is an extensive collection of technology, design, and entrepreneurship courses produced by OpenEd. All DreamLink Learning courses are accessible through an easy-to-navigate platform known as Launchpad.
Each course includes access to an Online Tech Mentor who will review student work, answer questions, and provide support throughout the year.
Is the recommended age for the DreamLink Learning courses flexible?
Yes! Please submit a request below if you feel your student might be ready for a course outside their grade range.
How do I log in to Launchpad?
Students with a DreamLink Learning course will have a Launchpad account. The username is the student’s email address. Please click “Recover Account” to set up a password.
Is there a required pacing and assignment schedule for DreamLink Learning courses, or can my child work at their own pace?
DreamLink Learning courses are self-paced, project-based, and mentor-graded. They include a suggested pacing and assignment calendar to help students progress throughout the school year. Students will also have access to an Online Tech Mentor who will review their work and answer questions during the year. Following the pacing guide helps ensure course completion. Students are also welcome to move at their own pace and disregard late assignment notices.
Where do I see my student's DreamLink Learning course grades and mentor feedback?
Parents and students can view DreamLink Learning course grades and feedback inside Launchpad. If students need help with a DreamLink Learning course or have questions, they can message their Online Tech Mentor directly inside Launchpad.
Is there a required pacing and assignment schedule for MTH Direct Provider courses, or can students work at their own pace?
Our MTH Direct Provider courses are self-paced and content-only. Students can participate in these programs at their own pace and appropriate level. Students will receive login information to view lessons and submit assignments. Some programs provide parent/teacher accounts for parents to monitor student progress, assign quizzes, and grade assignments. See our Course Catalog.
What if my child finishes their course early?
Upon completing a self-paced course, students should actively participate in enrichment opportunities or continue coursework related to that subject.

How many crates will my student get in a Virtual Makerspace with KiwiCo class?
You will receive eight crates as part of the KiwiCo course. In addition to the monthly kits, this course offers an online curriculum with additional instruction and activities. See details in our Course Catalog.
How do I sign up for in-person Makerspace courses?
Please review details about each Makerspace course in our Course Catalog before adding this option to your student’s schedule. Space is limited; only an approved schedule in InfoCenter will reserve a spot. If spots are available, you’ll find the courses in Periods 5, 6, or 7 under Technology > Engineering. If this class is not visible in your student's schedule, then that likely means the class is full. To be added to a waitlist, email [email protected].
Do I need a new computer? What are the system requirements?
The necessary computer specifications will vary based on the curriculum you choose. Check specific DreamLink Learning course requirements in our Course Catalog. In general, a standard computer will work great!
